Mental Health Next MIP Priority Area

Over 60 people from the MIP community gathered on April 9 to select the next issue priority for MIP. This meeting consolidated the findings from 17 previous listening sessions involving more than 300 community members. There were moving stories shared in the areas of mental health, transportation, isolation and creating a culture of civility, safety and kindness. It was a close vote and mental health was chosen as the next priority area for MIP. Deep reflection, one-on-ones, and singing together were also part of the moving gathering.
