The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is offering the Exhibit of Sacred Art from Diverse Christian Traditions at their Keene facility, 130 Summit Road, on March 29th, 4-7pm.
This event welcomes people of all faiths to contemplate the life, ministry, sacrifice, and resurrection of Jesus Christ through sacred art. The aim is to foster unity and build bridges of understanding among diverse people of faith, while offering a quiet space for peaceful reflection during the Easter season.
Drawn from community submissions, the exhibit will include diverse artistic depictions of Jesus from various Christian traditions and cultures. Artwork will be displayed in a gallery?style setting with brief written reflections provided by contributors. The event will also feature contemplative music, simple children’s activities, light refreshments, and brief expert talk about Leonardo Da Vinci’s Salvator Mundi.
